The Gallery The Book The Video About Anne Links Home				The Opera House Cup The Opera House Cup Race of Nantucket, named after the famous Opera House Restaurant, has taken place the third weekend in August since 1973. This popular race is part of the Northeast Classic Yacht Regatta Series and has grown from 12 to some 75+ classic sailing yachts. I have photographed this race almost every year since 1983. Due to the unpredictable weather of the area, the race is always eventful, from the noon start to the infamous big party that evening. My book, 'Wood, Wind and Water, A Story of the Opera House Race of Nantucket', consists of a collection of 85 photographs I have taken from 1983 to 2000. Additional photographs are in my collection
