Early Morning Training at Payson Park
Thoroughbred Racing
My childhood years of riding and seeing film clips of Secretariat win the Kentucky Derby have forever drawn me to horses. During my second year at New England School of Photography, I studied Documentary Photography, which sparked my interest in photographing the Thoroughbred scene. In the early '90's, I pursued this end in order to improve my personal vision. I have since photographed at Payson Park, a winter training facility in Florida, and visited tracks in the US, including Gulfstream, Hialeah, Keeneland, and Saratoga as well as in Europe at Chantilly, France
and Newmarket, England.
